📝 Description

Philodendron minima, often mistaken for a Monstera due to its split leaves, is a fast-growing vining plant that brings a tropical vibe to any space. Also known as Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, this plant isn’t a true Philodendron, but it shares similar care needs. Its small, fenestrated leaves give it the look of a mini Monstera deliciosa, but it grows much faster and stays more compact. It’s a natural climber, so giving it a moss pole or trellis will encourage larger, more dramatic leaves.

Caring for Philodendron minima is easy. It thrives in bright, indirect light but can handle lower light, though growth may slow down. Water it when the top inch of soil feels dry, and make sure it’s in well-draining soil to avoid root rot. Like most tropical plants, it enjoys humidity, so misting or placing it near a humidifier can help it thrive.
