Description

Crassula hottentot is a distinctive trailing succulent known for its stacked, spiral-like leaves that form tight, twisting chains along thick stems. A cultivar of Crassula perforata, it stands out with its compact growth and blue-green foliage that often takes on pinkish hues when exposed to bright light. The plant's cascading habit makes it ideal for hanging pots, shelf edges, or mixed succulent arrangements, where it adds texture and movement. Small clusters of white to pale pink flowers may appear seasonally, offering a subtle contrast to the fleshy leaves.

Easy to care for and drought-tolerant, Crassula ‘Hottentot’ thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Like many succulents, it prefers infrequent watering—only when the soil is completely dry. Over time, its stems can grow long and trail dramatically, making it a great choice for vertical displays or succulent walls. While commonly referred to as a type of "Jade Necklace," it's best not to confuse it with variegated forms, which differ slightly in colour and growth habit.

Order before 4pm (Mon–Fri) for same-day dispatch. Orders are fully trackable. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for most parcels, dependent on weight. If it's heavy, then it needs to go via DPD.

Shipping starts from £4.95 for Tracked 24 and £7.95 for DPD Express.
