Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is one of the easiest houseplants to grow, making it perfect for beginners. It has heart-shaped green leaves with streaks of yellow, giving it a vibrant look. This plant is extremely low-maintenance—it can survive in low light, doesn’t need frequent watering, and can handle some neglect. Whether you place it in a pot on a shelf or let it trail from a hanging basket, it quickly grows long, flowing vines that add a touch of greenery to any space.
Taking care of a Golden Pothos is simple. Water it when the top inch of soil feels dry, and keep it in a spot with indirect light for the best growth. If the leaves start turning yellow, it might be getting too much water. You can also trim the vines to keep it looking full and bushy. Plus, if you ever want more plants, you can easily grow new ones by cutting a piece of the vine and placing it in water until it grows roots. Just keep in mind that the leaves are toxic if eaten, so keep it away from pets and small children. With just a little care, Golden Pothos will thrive and bring life to your home.
