All plants are measured from the bottom of the nursery pot to the tip of the plant and if a height is specified, this is an approximate height, not set in stone. As all plants are living things, they will vary in size throughout the year, and we do our best to give a guide as to the size you can expect. If in doubt drop us an email hello@leafculture.co.uk. And lastly, minor flaws in leaves might be present and will not be covered for compensation. It's worth noting that plants naturally age like people and are rarely perfect.
Ficus el Tineke is another easy-growing houseplant that has soft yellow coloured leaves mixed with camouflage green. As new leaves start to appear they start almost pinky and then mature into the leaf colour you expect. That said, there are hints of pink on parts of the stems where the leaves grow from. This contrast is quite delicate and adds a bit more style.
Like all Ficus, they're easy to grow - you can tell this because the leaves are thick and slightly waxy which means they're able to retain water very well. This means they can survive forgetful parents whose watering regime is hit-and-miss!
Fertilising should be done reguarly as this gives the plant sufficient food to continue growing and flourishing but like all houseplants allow it to dry out before watering (preferably from the bottom).
