Euphorbia trigona Chunky, also known as the Euphorbia Ingens, African Milk Tree or Cathedral Cactus, is a striking succulent with tall, upright stems and a sculptural, architectural form. Its vivid green, three-sided stems are edged with small paired thorns and may occasionally produce short, delicate leaves along the ridges. While it resembles a cactus, it's actually a member of the Euphorbia family and is prized for its low-maintenance nature and dramatic presence, making it an excellent choice for modern interiors or bright corners that need a vertical accent.
Native to Central Africa, Euphorbia trigona thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers to dry out completely between waterings, making it particularly suited to those who forget to water now and then. It should be handled with care, as its milky sap is toxic and can irritate the skin. Over time, it can grow quite tall and may even branch out with multiple arms, adding to its cactus-like silhouette. With the right conditions, this plant can be a long-lasting, easy-care addition to any plant collection.
Approximately 60cm tall and 20cm wide.
