Peperomia polybotrya, also known as Raindrop peperomia, is a popular houseplant native to Central and South America. It gets its name from the the shape of its leaves, which are thick and waxy and resemble raindrops! It's a great plant for beginners and is quite forgiving of neglect.
Apart from the thick leaves, the colours range from light green to dark green and may appear slightly translucent. But it's not a large plant by any means and stays small at roughly 30cm tall and wide. This makes it easy to position.
It enjoys bright, indirect light and water when the top couple of inches of the soil are dry. Remember, it's always best to water from the bottom up so the plant can soak up water via the roots.
Overall, Peperomia polybotrya is a great choice for beginners looking for an attractive and low-maintenance houseplant. With proper care, it can thrive and add a touch of green to your home or office.
We offer a 7-day health guarantee for all plants. This means you have 7 days from the date your plant arrives to report any damages. During this time, you must provide photos of the plant as evidence. After the 7-day period, we cannot process any claims, as it falls outside of our live arrival guarantee.
Important: Repotting your plant within the first 7 days will void our guarantee.
