Peperomia Obtipan 'Bicolour', commonly known as Baby Rubber Plant or Pepper Face, is a popular houseplant admired for its attractive, variegated foliage. This plant is a part of the Piperaceae family and is native to tropical regions of South America. The 'Bicolour' variety features thick, glossy, oval-shaped leaves with a mix of green and creamy white, providing a striking visual contrast that makes it a favourite among indoor plant parents.
Peperomia Obtipan 'Bicolour' is easy, making it an excellent choice for those of you new to the hobby - we put it in the diehard category :). It prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions, though its growth may be slower, and the variegation less pronounced (more light, more variegation). The plant thrives in well-draining soil and should be watered when the top inch of soil feels dry, as it is somewhat drought-tolerant and sensitive to overwatering. Maintaining moderate humidity levels and keeping the plant in temperatures between 18-24°C and it's happy.
