Gymnocalycium, often called the Chin Cactus, is a compact and easy-to-care-for cactus known for its smooth, ribbed green body and striking geometric shape. Native to South America, it’s a favourite among collectors thanks to its small size, symmetrical form, and occasional bursts of colourful blooms—usually pink, white, or red—that appear right from the crown of the plant.
This cactus thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers a gritty, well-draining soil mix. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings, and reduce watering over winter. With its neat shape and low-maintenance nature, the Gymnocalycium makes a perfect desk or windowsill plant, adding a touch of desert charm without any fuss.
Note: we pick your order from our selection available. The shapes/colours are approximate and a guide to what will be received. Pictures are just examples of the cacti.
The pots are roughly 13cm tall and 7cm wide at the top.
We offer a 7-day health guarantee for all plants. This means you have 7 days from the date your plant arrives to report any damages. During this time, you must provide photos of the plant as evidence. After the 7-day period, we cannot process any claims, as it falls outside of our live arrival guarantee.
Important: Repotting your plant within the first 7 days will void our guarantee.
