Streptocarpus ‘Pretty Turtle’ is a charming little plant with unique, crinkled green hairy leaves that resemble a turtle’s shell—hence the name! This compact, easy-going houseplant belongs to the African violet family and produces delicate, trumpet-shaped flowers in shades of purple, pink, or blue. It’s a great choice for beginners because it thrives indoors with minimal fuss and blooms for months on end, adding a cheerful touch to any space.

Caring for ‘Pretty Turtle’ is simple—keep it in bright, indirect light and water when the top of the soil feels dry. It prefers a light, well-draining mix and doesn’t like sitting in water, so be sure to let any excess drain away. Unlike some fussier houseplants, it’s happy in average humidity and room temperatures, making it perfect for windowsills or shelves.

We offer a 7-day health guarantee for all plants. This means you have 7 days from the date your plant arrives to report any damages. During this time, you must provide photos of the plant as evidence. After the 7-day period, we cannot process any claims, as it falls outside of our live arrival guarantee.

Important: Repotting your plant within the first 7 days will void our guarantee.

Delivery

Order before 4pm (Mon–Fri) for same-day dispatch. Orders are fully trackable. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for most parcels, dependent on weight. If it's heavy, then it needs to go via DPD.

Shipping starts from £4.95 for Tracked 24 and £7.95 for DPD Express.

Amazing place to go to either look around or buy your favourite house plants. I'm so pleased to have found this little shop, such a variety, I got exactly what I wanted with some really helpful guidance and advice. I even got a free plant and tote bag as a promotional offer through December.

The swiftness Richard replied to my email - very professional.
I purchased a Magnificent 75cm Alocasia Zebrina Elephant Ear plant. Absolutely stunning. The plant was so healthy with baby leaves coming aswell. PACKAGING came in a huge tall 'Live Plants" cardboard box. So secure with all the stuffing, the plant pot itself was bagged and tied in a recyclable plastic bag so no soil fell out.
