Calathea Insignis, also known as the Calathea Lancifolia or the Rattlesnake Plant, is where nature shows off its artistic flair! This delightful houseplant is a star in Leaf Culture's collection, and we guarantee it will steal hearts all over the UK.

The Calathea Insignis is a true showstopper with its elongated, lance-shaped leaves that sport a mesmerizing pattern of dark green lines, resembling the skin of a rattlesnake (don't worry, it's not venomous at all!). As if that wasn't enough, these leaves are known for their nifty party trick - they rise and lower with the sun, a fascinating phenomenon known as "praying." It's like having a miniature acrobat right in your living room!

In terms of care, fear not, Leaf Culture's got your back. While it might have a fancy name, this plant is surprisingly low-maintenance. It thrives in bright, indirect light, so it's perfect for that spot where the sun plays peek-a-boo. And here's a top tip: this diva enjoys a little humidity, so a gentle misting session now and then will have it strutting its stuff.

Tip regarding Pruning: If some leaves show signs of wear and tear, don't hesitate to snip them off. Pruning helps the plant direct its energy towards new growth.

We offer a 7-day health guarantee for all plants. This means you have 7 days from the date your plant arrives to report any damages. During this time, you must provide photos of the plant as evidence. After the 7-day period, we cannot process any claims, as it falls outside of our live arrival guarantee.

Important: Repotting your plant within the first 7 days will void our guarantee.

Delivery

Order before 4pm (Mon–Fri) for same-day dispatch. Orders are fully trackable. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for most parcels, dependent on weight. If it's heavy, then it needs to go via DPD.

Shipping starts from £4.95 for Tracked 24 and £7.95 for DPD Express.

I purchased a Magnificent 75cm Alocasia Zebrina Elephant Ear plant. Absolutely stunning. The plant was so healthy with baby leaves coming aswell. PACKAGING came in a huge tall 'Live Plants" cardboard box. So secure with all the stuffing, the plant pot itself was bagged and tied in a recyclable plastic bag so no soil fell out.
