Further information on your plant
All plants are measured from the bottom of the nursery pot to the tip of the plant and if a height is specified, this is an approximate height, not set in stone. As all plants are living things, they will vary in size throughout the year, and we do our best to give a guide as to the size you can expect. If in doubt drop us an email hello@leafculture.co.uk. And lastly, minor flaws in leaves might be present and will not be covered for compensation. It's worth noting that plants naturally age like people and are rarely perfect.
If you're after a house plant that is easy to care for, Pachira aquatica is definitely that! With its beautifully braided branches and green leaves, it will catch your eye immediately.
The leaves on this plant are what makes it interesting as the leaves are palmately compound - this means they have multiple leaflets arranged like the fingers of a hand. Not only that but this is a flowering plant too that range from pink to white making it very showy.
Bright indirect light is what it needs and only water when the top 2 inches of the soil are dry. If you keep it in moist, it can suffer from root rot.
To wrap it up, the Pachira aquatica Braided stem is an excellent and beneficial houseplant that is sure to bring positivity to your home. With its lush green leaves, easy maintenance, air-purifying properties, and relaxing effects, it's a must-have for any plant enthusiast. And here's a fun fact about this plant: it's also known as the "money tree" and believed to bring good luck and prosperity to those who keep it in their home.
