Coffea Arabica, commonly known as the Arabian coffee plant or simply coffee plant, is a species of flowering plant in the family Rubiaceae. It is native to the tropical regions of Ethiopia and Sudan in East Africa. Coffea Arabica is widely cultivated for its highly prized coffee beans, which are used to produce the majority of the world's coffee but they also make rather delightful house plants.
Coffea Arabica is a house plant favoured by many coffee enthusiasts who enjoy growing coffee plants and harvesting beans for personal use. However, it takes some time for them to become large enough to produce the beans that you can use to grind down for coffee but you've got to start somewhere so why not now?!
