Description

Monstera obliqua 'Peru' is a fascinating houseplant that stands out due to its extremely delicate and perforated leaves which have large, oval holes, giving them a lacy appearance that is quite striking. This plant is native to Central and South America and is a part of the Araceae family. Monstera obliqua 'Peru' is a slow grower and can be a bit more challenging to find, making it a prized addition for plant enthusiasts and collectors and here at Leaf Culture, we're pretty pleased to have found it.

Caring for Monstera obliqua 'Peru' requires attention to its specific needs. It thrives in bright, indirect light, as direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves. The soil should be kept consistently moist but well-draining to prevent root rot. Higher humidity is crucial for this tropical plant, so regular misting or using a humidifier can be beneficial. It prefers temperatures between 18-27°C and fertilise during the growing season will support its growth.

Monstera obliqua 'Peru' is not just beautiful but also safe for homes with pets, as it is non-toxic to cats and dogs. Delivery

Order before 4pm (Mon–Fri) for same-day dispatch. Orders are fully trackable. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for most parcels, dependent on weight. If it's heavy, then it needs to go via DPD.

Shipping starts from £4.95 for Tracked 24 and £7.95 for DPD Express.

I purchased a Magnificent 75cm Alocasia Zebrina Elephant Ear plant. Absolutely stunning. The plant was so healthy with baby leaves coming aswell. PACKAGING came in a huge tall 'Live Plants" cardboard box. So secure with all the stuffing, the plant pot itself was bagged and tied in a recyclable plastic bag so no soil fell out.
