Its growth habit involves crawling along the ground or support (preferred option), making it a unique choice for indoor gardeners seeking to add a dramatic, natural element to their spaces.
Like most houseplants, Philodendron gloriosum prefers bright, indirect light and thrives in well-draining soil with high organic content. It is sensitive to overwatering, which can lead to root rot, so it requires a careful watering schedule, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. We recommend using a moisture meter to know exactly when this is.
In terms of care, Philodendron gloriosum benefits from regular humidity, making it well-suited for environments that can provide consistent moisture, such as bathrooms or rooms with humidifiers.
