Description

If you're searching for a low-maintenance and striking house plant to add some greenery to your living space, look no further than the Zamioculcas zamiifolia. Commonly known as the ZZ plant or the "eternity plant," this species is native to East Africa and is a member of the Araceae family.

One of the standout features of the ZZ plant is its thick, glossy leaves that are waxy to the touch. These leaves are dark green in colour, and they grow in a pattern that resembles the feathers of a bird. The plant is also notable for its ability to store water in its roots, making it a great choice for those who may not have a green thumb or who are prone to forget to water their plants regularly. In fact, in most cases, they're happy with much less water than you can imagine.

The ZZ plant will thrive in a wide range of light conditions, from bright, indirect light to very low light making it suitable for beginners and our Easy category of plants. Its undemanding nature allows forgetful owners plenty of flexibility - if it needs a drink and you know it's been a while, a quick and gentle squeeze of the stems tells you the story.

Note: Height sizes are approximate and due to the plant being a natural product there will always be some variation to it.

Houseplant Guarantee

We offer a 7-day health guarantee for all plants. This means you have 7 days from the date your plant arrives to report any damages. During this time, you must provide photos of the plant as evidence. After the 7-day period, we cannot process any claims, as it falls outside of our live arrival guarantee.

Important: Repotting your plant within the first 7 days will void our guarantee.

Delivery

Order before 4pm (Mon–Fri) for same-day dispatch. Orders are fully trackable. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for most parcels, dependent on weight. If it's heavy, then it needs to go via DPD.

Shipping starts from £4.95 for Tracked 24 and £7.95 for DPD Express.

I purchased a Magnificent 75cm Alocasia Zebrina Elephant Ear plant. Absolutely stunning. The plant was so healthy with baby leaves coming aswell. PACKAGING came in a huge tall 'Live Plants" cardboard box. So secure with all the stuffing, the plant pot itself was bagged and tied in a recyclable plastic bag so no soil fell out.
