All plants are measured from the bottom of the nursery pot to the tip of the plant and if a height is specified, this is an approximate height, not set in stone. As all plants are living things, they will vary in size throughout the year, and we do our best to give a guide as to the size you can expect. If in doubt drop us an email hello@leafculture.co.uk. And lastly, minor flaws in leaves might be present and will not be covered for compensation. It's worth noting that plants naturally age like people and are rarely perfect.
Homalomena wallisii 'Camouflage' is a distinctive and attractive variety of the Homalomena species, known for its striking foliage - you can see where it gets the name from. Native to tropical regions of Asia, the leaves typically display a mix of dark and light green patches, which makes the plant quite eye-catching.
Like a lot of houseplants, its demands are not huge but does need the usuals such as bright indirect light, watering only when it genuinely needs a drink rather than on a schedule, fertilise regularly (we fertilise with every water throughout the year) and repot when you start to notice white roots pushing through the bottom of the pot.
Avoid placing it near a door or drafty areas as it won't appreciate that (humidity levels swing to much). Apart from that, it's a lovely houseplant that will be enjoyed.
