Part of the Calathea family, this variety flaunts purple leaves adorned with stunning variegation in shades of dark green along the edges of the leaves. But here's where it gets even better – these leaves have a warm, sunset pink glow that's absolutely mesmerising. Deep red veins and stems add an extra pop of colour, making sure this plant doesn't just blend in; it stands out.
This captivating houseplant doesn't have any wild roots, though. It's a specially bred variety designed to bring the wow factor to your home. Originating from the rainforests of South America, the Calathea Rosey prefers a bright spot, not too much direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist, and give it a little misting to keep the air humid – fertilise with every water and use a dechlorinator if possible (along with room temperature water).
