Alocasia Black Velvet is a striking houseplant known for its deep green, almost black leaves with silvery-white veins. The leaves are velvety to the touch and have a unique, shield-like shape that gives this plant a bold, dramatic presence despite its compact size. It’s perfect for adding a touch of elegance to shelves or smaller spaces where a little contrast can go a long way.
This plant prefers bright, indirect light and thrives in well-draining soil that stays lightly moist—but not soggy. Let the top inch of soil dry out between waterings, and avoid letting it sit in water. Alocasia Black Velvet also enjoys a bit of humidity, so it’s right at home in kitchens or bathrooms.
We offer a 7-day health guarantee for all plants. This means you have 7 days from the date your plant arrives to report any damages. During this time, you must provide photos of the plant as evidence. After the 7-day period, we cannot process any claims, as it falls outside of our live arrival guarantee.
Important: Repotting your plant within the first 7 days will void our guarantee.
Order before 4pm (Mon–Fri) for same-day dispatch. Orders are fully trackable. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for most parcels, dependent on weight. If it's heavy, then it needs to go via DPD.

PACKAGING came in a huge tall 'Live Plants" cardboard box. So secure with all the stuffing, the plant pot itself was bagged and tied in a recyclable plastic bag so no soil fell out.
