📝 Description
Codiaeum 'Sunny Star' is a bold, tropical houseplant known for its vibrant yellow-green foliage. Unlike some crotons with heavily variegated or multi-coloured leaves, Sunny Star keeps things simple with bright, golden tones that really pop in a room. The long, narrow leaves grow upright and slightly arching, giving the plant a structured, tidy look while still bringing a lot of energy and colour.
It likes a warm, bright spot—ideally with plenty of indirect sunlight to keep its colours vivid. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy, and try to avoid cold drafts or big temperature swings. One thing to note: Codiaeum plants are toxic to pets if ingested, so it’s best to keep Sunny Star out of reach of cats and dogs. With the right care, it can grow into a striking indoor statement plant.
