Further information on your plant
All plants are measured from the bottom of the nursery pot to the tip of the plant and if a height is specified, this is an approximate height, not set in stone. As all plants are living things, they will vary in size throughout the year, and we do our best to give a guide as to the size you can expect. If in doubt drop us an email hello@leafculture.co.uk. And lastly, minor flaws in leaves might be present and will not be covered for compensation. It's worth noting that plants naturally age like people and are rarely perfect.
Ceropegia woodii ‘Silver Glory,’ or String of Hearts, is a trailing succulent known for its silver-toned, heart-shaped leaves and cascading vines. Native to South Africa, it’s drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, making it perfect for beginners. Its vines can grow several feet long, ideal for hanging baskets or shelves, and it produces unique pink or purple tubular flowers.
Easy to care for, it thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil, requiring water only when the soil is dry. Shipped coiled for protection, its vines should be untangled carefully to minimize leaf loss. Rapid growth ensures it bounces back quickly.
Important note: The String of Hearts comes coiled in the packaging to safeguard them during transportation. When you unwrap them, we advise delicately untwisting the coils and carefully separating the vines around the pot. Rushing through this process may result in losing some of the hearts, so take your time. Allow the coils to hang for a few days before gradually parting the vines (patience is key). While some loss of foliage is inevitable, these plants are known for their rapid growth and will regenerate swiftly.
