Stromanthe sanguinea, also known as Stromanthe ‘Triostar’, is a tropical showstopper with stunning variegated leaves that blend shades of green, cream, and pink—plus a rich burgundy underside that adds a dramatic touch. It belongs to the prayer plant family, so you’ll often see its leaves gently folding up at night, which adds a bit of movement and life to your plant collection. Stromanthe likes bright, indirect light (avoid harsh sun), high humidity, and consistently moist—but not soggy—soil.
This plant can be a bit fussy about its environment, especially when it comes to humidity, so it’s happiest in a steamy bathroom, near a humidifier, or with regular misting. But the payoff is worth it—when it's thriving, Stromanthe sanguinea is one of the most striking foliage plants around. It makes a beautiful statement on its own or as part of a tropical grouping, bringing colour and personality into any indoor space.
