All plants are measured from the bottom of the nursery pot to the tip of the plant and if a height is specified, this is an approximate height, not set in stone. As all plants are living things, they will vary in size throughout the year, and we do our best to give a guide as to the size you can expect. If in doubt drop us an email hello@leafculture.co.uk. And lastly, minor flaws in leaves might be present and will not be covered for compensation. It's worth noting that plants naturally age like people and are rarely perfect.
Pilea peperomioides ‘Sugar’ is a charming twist on the classic Chinese Money Plant, known for its round, coin-shaped leaves. What makes ‘Sugar’ special is the delicate silver speckling on its bright green foliage, giving it a lightly frosted look. It’s an easy-care plant that thrives in bright, indirect light and enjoys a drink when the top of the soil feels dry. Since it grows quickly and produces lots of baby plants (pups), it’s fun to share cuttings with friends!
Even better, Pilea ‘Sugar’ is pet-friendly, so it’s safe for homes with cats and dogs. Just keep it in well-draining soil and avoid overwatering, as it doesn’t like soggy roots. If you notice the leaves reaching for light, give the pot a little turn now and then to keep it growing evenly. With its unique speckled look and easy-going nature, ‘Sugar’ is a lovely addition to any plant collection!
