Callisia repens ‘Rosato’, also known as Pink Panther or Pink Lady, is a charming houseplant with tiny, delicate leaves in shades of green, pink, and purple. Its compact, cascading growth makes it perfect for hanging baskets, terrariums, or as a trailing accent in mixed planters. This fast-growing plant thrives in bright, indirect light, which helps maintain its vibrant colours. If kept in lower light, the pink hues may fade, leaving more green. With regular pruning, it stays bushy and full, creating a lush, colourful display.
Caring for Callisia ‘Rosato’ is easy. It prefers well-draining soil and should be watered when the top layer of soil feels dry—overwatering can lead to root rot. While it enjoys humidity, it adapts well to average indoor conditions. However, this plant is not pet-safe, as it can cause irritation if ingested. Keeping it out of reach of curious pets is a good idea.
